APPLETON, WIS. (Oct. 17, 2014) – Willems Marketing, which is celebrating 15 years in business during 2014, is expanding to include an events division that will use original and themed music to enhance business conferences and meetings, as well as milestones such as company anniversaries, expansions and groundbreakings.

Now known as Willems Marketing & Events, the firm continues operations from 120 N. Morrison St., the downtown Appleton office building it purchased in 2008. The firm started as Willems & Company in 1999 and changed to Willems Marketing in 2004. In addition to the events division, the company has a publications division that includes Money Saver magazine properties in Green Bay and Wausau. It employs 15 associates.

In 2013, Willems Marketing successfully launched the Mile of Music festival throughout downtown Appleton. The firm has also produced and promoted other major events in downtown Appleton and the Fox Cities and will look to expand that business area.

“Our name change reflects our goal of adding remarkable components to events, resulting in a greater and more enjoyable level of engagement for attendees,” said Dave Willems, CEO and principal. “We aim for our events division to be a resource for event planners and an innovative and creative crafter of music and entertainment-related events for our clients.”
