DOWNTOWN MADISON GAINS TWO KOHL CENTER AREA APARTMENT BUILDINGS

MADISON, WI (October 2, 2014) – Stevens Construction Corp., a full service, Wisconsin based general contractor, is pleased to announce the recent opening of two apartment buildings near the Kohl Center and UW-Madison campus.

Park Place, a five story concrete and wood frame apartment building located at 202-222 North Bassett St. will offer a total of 75 units as well as 54 underground parking stalls. City View, located at 313-315 North Francis St. replaces 2 small residential homes with 40 units in an impressive twelve story. The post-tensioned concrete building stands 140’ tall on a footprint of merely 4,100 square feet. Both locations feature community study lounges with outdoor patios along with abundant bicycle parking and tenant storage.

Mainly targeted to students, both buildings are centrally located near UW-Madison and the Kohl Center and offer a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom floor plan options. Young professionals will find the modern buildings equally attractive with their cool, funky finishes and convenient access to downtown amenities and services. The projects are designed by Knothe & Bruce Architects and the creation of local developer Scott Faust.
