Madison, WI – Attorney Nels Kjome has joined the Janesville office of Murphy Desmond S.C. as a
shareholder, practicing in the areas of family law/divorce, criminal defense and business law.
Kjome has been in private practice for the past 10 years where he has assisted clients in
divorce and family matters including children in need of protection and services, grandparents’ rights,
step-parent rights, and step-parent adoptions. He has also handled criminal matters ranging from
misdemeanors to Class A felonies. In addition, Kjome has helped business clients with general business
legal needs.
Kjome earned his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University’s School of Engineering and his law
degree from Marquette University Law School in 2004.
