Nolan Bushnell to Keynote Inaugural Awards Ceremony August 26, 2014

Madison— July 8, 2014 — One week remains to nominate outstanding products, services and ideas for a Wisconsin Innovation Award. Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of industry experts, and award winners will be announced at the 2014 Wisconsin Innovation Awards Ceremony on August 26, 2014 at the Memorial Union in Madison.

Nominations are being sought across all sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, non-profit, government, education, it/web/software, and healthcare, and from companies of all sizes. Nominations will be accepted until July 15, 2014, and the nomination form can be found at www.wisconsininnovationawards.com.

The Wisconsin Innovation Awards Ceremony will feature a keynote address from Nolan Bushnell. The founder of Atari Corporation and Chuck E. Cheese Pizza, Mr. Bushnell is a technology pioneer, entrepreneur and scientist. The Ceremony is open to the public, and tickets are now available for a refundable early-bird price of $20 each. The Wisconsin Innovation Awards Ceremony is presented by American Family Insurance and Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, and is organized by a volunteer steering committee comprised of leaders from business, non-profit, and education.
