DENTAL ASSOCIATES BECOMES OFFICIAL DENTAL PROVIDER OF
WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS

Wauwatosa, WI (March 13, 2014) – Dental Associates, Wisconsin’s largest family-owned dental group practice, is now the official dental provider for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The move is the latest in a series of steps the company has taken to raise its profile in the markets it serves, which include Appleton, Green Bay, Fond du Lac and southeastern Wisconsin.

Last summer, Dental Associates signed an agreement with the Green Bay Packers to become an exclusive marketing partner in the dental industry for the 2013 season. This summer, the company plans to move its corporate headquarters to the restored Historic Iron Block Building in Milwaukee and open a street-level dental center to serve downtown residents and professionals.

“As a company, we’re always looking for ways to be locally engaged and are excited to support the Timber Rattlers,” says Dr. Thomas Manos, D.D.S, M.S., president and owner of Dental Associates. “The team has been a wonderful asset to the area for the past 20 years and provides great family entertainment during the spring, summer and fall months.”

Throughout the 2014 Timber Rattlers’ season, Dental Associates’ “Smile Cam” will capture and reward fans in the stands who flash their pearly whites. The company will also give away a total of 3,500 children’s dental health kits over the course of seven home games. The kits include a child’s toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and dental health tips and are part of the company’s ongoing initiative to teach children how to properly care for their teeth.

The Timber Rattlers home field is just minutes away from Dental Associates’ three Appleton-area dental centers, which are located at 4660 W. College Ave., 2115 E. Evergreen Dr. and N1737 Lily of the Valley Dr. in Greenville.

“We truly value the support of dedicated area companies like Dental Associates,” says Rob Zerjav, president and general manager of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. “The Timber Rattlers and Dental Associates have both been in Wisconsin for decades so we’re pleased we can work together and are looking forward to a long-lasting relationship.”

The Timber Rattlers opening game is Thursday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m. against the Peoria Chiefs at Fox Cities Stadium.

Dental Associates’ Community Commitment
Dental Associates has an ongoing presence in the area through a variety of community activities. This February, as part of Children’s Dental Health Month, dentists and dental assistants visited 64 YMCAs, preschools, early learning centers and elementary schools in Green Bay, Fond du Lac and the Fox Valley, teaching 6,697 children about dental health. All together, the company and its 10 clinics reached more than 11,000 youngsters throughout Wisconsin.

Last December, as part of its agreement with the Green Bay Packers, Dental Associates held an autograph signing with Packers’ starting linebacker Brad Jones at its North Appleton dental center and with Packers’ starting cornerback Sam Shields at its Sturtevant dental center.

In 2012, all of Dental Associates’ dental centers were awarded accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) as a dental home. Status as an accredited dental home means Dental Associates meets nationally recognized standards for the delivery of quality health care set by AAAHC in all aspects of dentistry, general to specialized. The accreditation was conducted during an independent and extensive evaluation process.

“Over the last few years, we’ve worked hard to bring continual improvements and innovations to our clinics and our patients,” says Manos. “We’re constantly pushing ourselves to be the best and most trusted provider of dental services in Wisconsin.”
