The Great Bunny Train: April 12-13, 2014
The National Railroad Museum’s first event of the
season offers springtime fun for the entire family!
Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, Wis.) – The Easter Bunny is coming to town! But before he travels the world – hiding colored eggs and
baskets filled with chocolate for children to discover on Easter morning – he will be visiting the National Railroad Museum April 12-
13, 2014.
Each admission to the Great Bunny Train includes a day of entertainment, crafts, and games for children of all ages, including a
chance to ride the train and meet the Easter Bunny. Television station WFRV (Channel 5), Green Bay Seven Up Bottling Company,
Sunny D, Great Harvest Bread Company, Green Bay Packers and Rasmussen College are event sponsors.
An Easter egg scavenger hunt and other event activities can be enjoyed throughout both event days. Enjoy spring-themed crafts and
games. All of the Museum’s regular exhibits will be open. This year’s entertainment will feature:
• The comedy and magic of Jeff McMullen –
Shows at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. Sunday
• Children’s music by Mr. Billy –
Shows at 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 Sunday
A spectacular coloring contest will be presented by 7-Up products. Youngsters are encouraged to color an Easter picture while they
visit during the Great Bunny Train. Winners will be selected hourly to receive Sunny D products. A grand prize will be announced at
4:30pm on each day.
Tickets for The Great Bunny Train are $10 for adults and children (3 to 12), $9 for members, children under the age of three are
admitted free of charge. Advance reservations are not necessary. Tickets can be purchased the days of the event. Proceeds from this
event will go to support the Museum’s educational programs.
Concessions: Delicious sandwiches and cookies will be available to purchase from Great Harvest Bread Co. Pizza will also be
available from Brew Pub Pizza a product of Bernatello’s.
The National Railroad Museum, located at 2285 S. Broadway, Green Bay, will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both event days.
Founded in 1956, the Museum educates the public through programs, exhibits, and preservation projects about the ongoing impact of
railroads in our lives. Visiting the National Railroad Museum offers an opportunity to explore our railroad heritage. The Museum is
one of the oldest and largest institutions of its kind in the United States.
