Milwaukee, Wisconsin (August 1, 2012) — Wipfli LLP, a national consulting and accounting firm based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recently elected four Wisconsin-based associates to partner. Todd Kostman, Cori Schoenke, Jay Totzke and Jeff Wulf were among the six associates elected to partner across the firm, which brings the total number of partners in the firm to 142.

With over 17 years of experience, Kostman is the leader of the firm’s Business Advisory Services practice in the Eau Claire market and provides accounting, tax and business consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses and their owners. He also leads the firm’s dealership industry practice in the Eau Claire office. A certified public accountant, Kostman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Eau Claire Noon Rotary Club. Kostman holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Schoenke has over 20 years of experience in the health care and nonprofit industries. Her primary focus is on planning, conducting, and overseeing financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits, and compliance and statutory audits of healthcare and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Wipfli in 2009, Schoenke worked for over 10 years as an external auditor for a Big Four firm and as a regional controller for a large public company. A certified public accountant, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA). Schoenke is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, treasurer of the Hope House of Milwaukee and Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, and a frequent speaker at state and local conferences for the WICPA, Wisconsin Rural Health Cooperative, and Healthcare Financial Management Association. She holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
With over 14 years of public accounting experience, Totzke is dedicated to serving financial institutions. He specializes in providing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, agreed-upon procedures, field examinations and general consulting to financial institutions. He is also a member of the firm’s Quality Assurance Committee. Prior to joining Wipfli, Totzke worked for a Big Four firm. A certified public accountant, Totzke is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a bachelor of business administration degree and graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In addition, Totzke plans to graduate from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013.
Wulf has over 20 years of experience and leads the consulting practice in the firm’s Southern Region where he also works with clients on organizational development, change management and process improvement. Prior to joining the firm, Wulf worked as a consultant with another international professional services firm and in various marketing and business development roles at a Fortune 500 company. In addition to his work with Wipfli, he is currently a participant in the Executive Agenda and a board member for Junior Achievement of Dane County. Wulf holds a bachelor of science degree in economics and international relations from the University of Wisconsin and a master of business administration degree from Loyola University in Chicago. He is also an alumnus of Leadership Greater Madison.
