Downtown Madison is part of the Dane County Buy Local Solstice Stroll, June 21
(Madison, Wis., June 12, 2012) Shop, sip, sup, stroll and step out for a midsummer's night evening of fun in downtown Madison as part of the Dane County Buy Local Solstice Stroll on Thursday, June 21, from 5:00 – 9:00 pm. Locally owned downtown businesses will throw open their doors and stay open late, inviting the community to visit their businesses, mingle, enjoy refreshments and demonstrations, and learn more about what they do to help keep our community vibrant and thriving.
The Downtown Visitor Center (452 State St.) and the Capitol Square Downtown Information Booth (where State St. meets the Square) will be open and staffed by BID Downtown Ambassadors until 9:00pm on Thursday, June 21st, where you can stop by and pick up a list and map of participating downtown Madison businesses.
