Bay Area Humane Society: Holds Cinco de Mayo cat adoption special

Green Bay, WI – The Bay Area Humane Society will hold a $5 cat adoption special to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. All cats and kittens will have their regular adoption fee of $50-150 lowered to $5 on Saturday, May 5.

During the summer months, animal shelters see an influx of cats, especially kitten litters. The $5 adoption special will help prevent cat overcrowding at the shelter in the coming months.

The reduced adoption fee still covers all of the pre-adoption veterinary care that includes spay or neuter surgery, an examination by a veterinarian, vaccinations and a microchip.

Interested adopters can go either the Bay Area Humane Society located at 1830 Radisson St. from noon to 5 pm or the PetSmart Adoption Center located at 825 Pilgrim Way from 9 am to 9pm.
