Engineering Job Fair to be held Wednesday; Many jobs need to be filled in next 90 days

Madison—Today Governor Walker joined Generac CEO Aaron Jagdfeld in announcing that the company would be adding well over 400 new jobs in Southeast Wisconsin. Generac will add 300 to 400 new jobs in Waukesha, Whitewater, and Eagle, Wisconsin. They will also add at least 50 new jobs at Magnum Products in Berlin, Wisconsin.

“I want to thank Generac for their commitment to Wisconsin and for growing their business here,” said Governor Walker. “They will hire hundreds of new workers in family-supporting jobs in both engineering and manufacturing. This is great news for Wisconsin families.”

In response to increased demand, Generac must fill many of the jobs in the next ninety days. The company will be holding an Engineering Job Fair on Wednesday, November 9th at its Waukesha headquarters located at S45 W29290 Hwy. 59 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The job fair will be an opportunity for prospective employees to talk with engineers and hiring managers about Generac’s exciting career opportunities.

Positions range from entry level to management and include engineers, designers, technicians and more. All positions include a comprehensive benefits program.
