WISCONSIN DELLS – Governor-elect Scott Walker will address members of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation at 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 5 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
Walker will be sworn in as Wisconsin’s next governor on January 3. His 6 p.m. address will come at start of the Farm Bureau’s Sunday Evening Awards Banquet during the organization’s 91st Annual Meeting.
“We are very excited to have Governor-elect Walker as a special guest at our Annual Meeting to share his vision for creating jobs and growing our state’s economy with the help of Wisconsin’s $59 billion agricultural industry,” said Wisconsin Farm Bureau President Bill Bruins.
The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general farm organization. Its 42,000 members represent farms of every commodity, size and management style.
