MILWAUKEE – Jerome M. Janzer, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c., announces the addition of Benjamin T. Kurten, an experienced immigration attorney, to the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice.
Kurten will lead the firm’s Immigration Law Group. He has more than 12 years of experience in immigration matters, including successfully arguing cases before the Executive Office of the Immigration Judge, Board of Immigrations Appeals and the Administrative Appeals Office. Prior to joining Reinhart, Kurten was an attorney at Quarles & Brady LLP in Milwaukee.
In addition, he is a frequent speaker and panelist on the topic of immigration and regularly presents at industry events. He travels to Washington D.C. regularly to advocate for favorable immigration legislation.

Kurten received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.
