New talent expands department’s depth and breadth of service
Milwaukee, Wisconsin — Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is proud to welcome Emily Friedrich as its new Public Relations Specialist and Jessica Gordon as its new Marketing & Communications Assistant.

Friedrich joins Godfrey & Kahn with significant public relations and communications experience. She will be responsible for the firm’s overall public relations strategy and program management, media communications and social media program coordination. Most recently, Friedrich worked for Rockwell Automation, Inc., where she was responsible for a variety of communication activities including: creating and coordinating external and internal communication campaigns and planning and executing public, employee and media events. Friedrich holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a public relations emphasis from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
Gordon joins the firm with experience specifically in direct mail and e-marketing. She will be responsible for production of collateral, advertisements and newsletters, as well as an assortment of other marketing activities. Most recently, she worked for Drucks Sudden Service in Oshkosh, Wis., where she was responsible for many aspects of their marketing functions including: oversight of marketing budgets, establishment of advertising contracts and development of marketing and promotions for award submittals. Gordon earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an advertising and public relations emphasis from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
