FEMA: Only one month left to register for disaster assistance

NEW BERLIN, Wis.— Only one month remains for homeowners, renters and businesses in Grant and Milwaukee counties who were affected by the severe storms, tornadoes and flooding July 20-24 to register for disaster assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The registration deadline is Nov. 17.

To register or to have questions answered about FEMA disaster assistance applications, call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 1-800-462-7585. Registration is also available online at http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov. Information about U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) low-interest disaster loan applications is available by calling 1-800-659-2955 or visit the SBA online at http://www.SBA.gov.
