American Speed Association: How much do you know about the ASAMT website?

ALL THE INFORMATION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN ONE LOCATION

October 18, 2010 – Are you getting the most out of the The American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and grandstay.net website? The ASAMT webmaster works hard at maintaining the most current and correct information throughout the entire year, and the ASAMT website has all of the information that one needs to keep up with the ASAMT happenings.

What makes the ASAMT website unique, is its user friendliness and comprehensive information. Just like most, from the homepage one can find the current news, race results, review the season point standings, and the year’s schedule, which includes basic track and race day information.

In addition, the tracks that the ASAMT competes at are listed across the top of the page. Fans can then go to each of the tracks’ websites individually and learn a little bit about the variety of racing venues. Fans will also always know what event is coming up next. The next event information is always located in the banner across the top of the links.

If one clicks on the drivers link, one can learn about all of the ASA Midwest Tour Swiss Colony Touring Stars and several other ASAMT regular event attenders. The website also includes a list of awards given by contingency sponsors from each and every event. Fans can also keep up to date on the current point standings, including Hard Charger standings, simply by going to http://www.asamidwesttour.com/stats.

Sponsors, sponsors, and more sponsors. That is what makes the ASAMT able to continue to bring the most exciting racing throughout the Midwest. When one clicks on the Sponsors link, all of those who have made it possible are displayed and by clicking on the sponsor, one can be redirected to the company websites.

Ever wondered what tech inspection is all about? By clicking on the Tech link, one can learn all the latest in tech updates, including safety changes and new developments in the area of technical inspection.

Before a driver is able to compete in any of the ASAMT divisions, he or she much understand all of the rules pertaining to the division. This information is also available on the ASAMT website for the general public. By clicking on Rules, one can read and better understand how each division is structured and why things happen the way they happen on race day.

In the Forms section, there are even more Rules & Information, as well as the ASA Midwest Tour Official’s Frequency, tech inspection forms, race procedures, fender layout maps, and more.

Not only is all of this information available from the home page, but by clicking on each of the respective divisions, Sportsman and Trucks, one will be able to find out all of the same information for each separate division.

If you have not already taken the time to get familiar with the ASAMT website, now is the time. As the season has come to a close, there is no better time to learn about what helped put 2010 all together and what will bring it all back together in 2011.

Also, do not forget to sign up for the ASA Midwest Tour Email List located on the left hand side of each page. So be sure to stay up-to-date with everything happening in the ASAMT by staying informed and visiting the ASA Midwest Tour Website often.

The next event for the ASA Midwest Tour is the Awards Banquet on January 22nd. More details coming soon.
