GREEN BAY, October 12, 2010 – New North, Inc. announced today that the Wisconsin Wind Works Wind Energy Symposium will be held on Wednesday, October 13 at the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee. The wind energy industry is a target growth market of the New North.

Featuring networking opportunities and expert panels, the event will provide a forum for collaboration and education. Attendees will learn about current industry issues and trends, including market outlooks for 2010-2013, market entry strategies, and opportunities for regional manufacturers.

The symposium will also give attendees the chance to develop connections with the newest Wisconsin wind energy supply chain entrant, Ingeteam (INDAR), and global wind leader Vestas during the featured lunch presentation.

Other panelists include representatives from the Great Lakes Wind Network, Office of Energy Independence, American Wind Energy Association, Wausaukee Composites Inc., Milwaukee Machine Works, and the Milwaukee 7, among others.

The cost is $125 per person. Current students with valid student photo IDs enjoy a reduced registration rate of only $35. Admission includes all sessions, a light breakfast, lunch featuring keynote speakers from Ingeteam and Vestas, and a social networking reception.
