Repairers of the Breach: Medical clinic opens Oct. 5 for Milwaukee’s homeless

Political officials, including Alderman Robert Bauman, County Supervisor Elizabeth Coggs and leaders from Milwaukee’s business and medical community will join October 5 for the official opening of a new free health and medical clinic in Milwaukee to serve the homeless and residents of the Central City. The new medical clinic at 1335 W. Vliet St. will generally be open Monday through Friday mornings. It will operate as part of the Repairers of the Breach daytime resource center for the homeless. Health screenings, diagnoses, referrals and routine and crisis medical care will be provided.

A team of more than 40 medical professionals and students have volunteered to staff the center. They will be on hand to participate in the opening ceremonies.

Please join us for the ceremonies for this important new facility serving Milwaukee’s homeless and poor, a tour and news regarding Repairers of the Breach’s progress and plans.
