MILWAUKEE – U.S. Cellular has announced the appointment of Laurie Poellinger as director of sales for Wisconsin. Based in Waukesha, Poellinger plans and directs all retail sales, direct sales and agent relations activities in Wisconsin. She also develops strategies and implements programs that continually improve the customer experience.
“We believe that success starts with great leadership, and Laurie is a leader with a passion for customer service that is essential to this role,” said Kathy Hust, vice president of sales for the Mid-Central region. “Through her years here, Laurie has proven that she can teach and develop associates to provide a great experience our customers deserve.”
Poellinger, who has been with U.S. Cellular since 1990, most recently was an agent area sales manager in Wisconsin responsible for 128 agent locations throughout the state.
Poellinger succeeds Chris Rathsack, who now is U.S. Cellular’s director of sales in Chicago, which is home to the wireless provider’s corporate headquarters.
Poellinger, a native of Wisconsin, received a bachelor of science degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She currently lives in New Berlin.
