Forms committee to focus on international compliance issues
MADISON – The Madison International Trade Association (MITA) has announced its program schedule for the 2010-2011 calendar year.
Programs cover a wide variety of international trade topics and are presented during regular MITA meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the Madison Marriott West. For more information, visit http://mitaweb.org/.
Last year, Wisconsin companies exported nearly $17 billion worth of products ranging from electric engines to food ingredients. Wisconsin companies rely on their global suppliers, global customers, partners and employees from around the world to contribute to their business success. MITA provides a venue for companies to learn about international trade and to network with other professionals in the business.

MITA provides its members with opportunities to become involved and facilitate learning in the field of international trade.
The newly created Trade Compliance Committee is one such opportunity. The committee will focus on export and import compliance and best practices in the field of international trade, and will partner with Madison area international trade education providers.
