Bay Area Humane Society: Hopes adoption special for Friday the 13th is lucky day for felines

Green Bay, Wisconsin – Bay Area Humane Society is hosting a Feline Adoption Event Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 12th, 13th and 14th. From 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weekdays and 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, all adult cat adoptions will be just 13 cents. Experience purrs and unconditional love, and feel proud knowing you made a difference in the life of a great pet.

“We hope Friday the 13th will be a lucky day for many of these wonderful cats – the day they find a loving family,” says Kelly Sears, Director of Animal Welfare, “They’ve already had their share of bad luck, we’re fighting to turn that around for them!”

All 13 cent adoptions will still need an approved adoption application and will still include the same great care for each cat including:

* Spay or neuter surgery

* Rabies vaccination

* Initial distemper vaccination

* Deworming treatment, flea treatment

* Feline Leukemia & Feline AIDS testing (felv/FIV/Heartworm)

* Microchip identification & Registration

* Free Health Examination (within ten business days of adoption courtesy of local veterinarians)

* 4 lb. bag of Science Diet food
