MADISON, Wis. Twenty-seven leaders from across the state of Wisconsin completed their two-year intensive leadership development experience from the Leadership Wisconsin. These leaders were recognized during the Legacy of Leadership Celebration held in Stevens Point on July 17.

Leadership Wisconsin is the only statewide, leadership development program in Wisconsin.

For almost three decades Leadership Wisconsin has been producing leaders who have had a profound impact on the education, health, political, business, nonprofit, and civic sectors of our state and beyond. Many of our alumni have gone on to political office, become senior administrators for our cities, counties, towns, villages and schools, and been acknowledged as outstanding business, community, nonprofit and government leaders. These are visionary, yet pragmatic leaders who are bound by public need & not political favors; that are capable & willing to work at shaping our future with a broad perspective on the issues.

Selection and participation in Leadership Wisconsin is an honor, and with this honor comes an obligation to use one’s full talent, ideas and energy to build a better Wisconsin for all citizens. Executive Director JoAnn Stormer said “Positions in the Leadership Wisconsin program are highly sought after and the responsibility of leadership is taken very seriously by our alumni. The program experience provides an opportunity for these men and women to join an extensive state wide network of leaders who work to make a real difference in Wisconsin.” It is with great pride that Leadership Wisconsin recognizes the following men and women who have completed their two year leadership development fellowship.
