Madison, Wis. – His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will visit the Waisman Center on UW-Madison’s campus during the grand opening celebration of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds on May 15-16.

Miron is currently in the process of building the Center for Investigating Health Minds – the first such center in the world.

“We’re excited that the Dalai Lama has chosen to visit the Center, and we’re very proud to be constructing the first-of-its-kind facility,” said Dennis Lynch, VP of the Madison area office. “This event is a great opportunity to highlight some of the innovative construction processes involved in building this facility.”

The Center for Investigating Healthy Minds is dedicated to creating a healthy world in which health qualities of mind flourish, using basic and translational scientific research to help individuals and communities achieve happiness and contentment.

This is the Dalai Lama’s second visit to the Waisman Center, having visited the facility in 2001.
