Pewaukee, Wis. – If sales are the lifeblood of a business, marketing is the heart that keeps it pumping. Yet with so many options available – from traditional print advertising to social media and blogging – many business owners might be unsure where to begin.
A May 20 workshop, “Marketing: What’s Your Plan?” will explore different marketing options and how they fit – or don’t fit – for individual businesses. The focus will be on identifying marketing practices that help businesses generate consistent revenue, regardless of economic trends or passing fads.
The seminar will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Foundations Bank, N35-W23877 Highfield Court. It’s the second of six monthly Growth Coach seminars aimed at helping business owners think strategically and plan ahead for growth.
“No business owner can get in front of each and every prospect in their marketplace,” said Gwen Nelson, owner of The Growth Coach and a veteran small business owner and adviser. “That’s why marketing is so important. Marketing helps raise market awareness and keep sales going. The challenge is knowing where to invest time and money to achieve the greatest results.”
The workshop will explain how to create a marketing plan that fits a business and “systematizes” its marketing outreach, Nelson said. A panel of experts will offer ideas and commentary throughout the event. All attendees registered by May 18 will receive a free one-hour coaching session on business management and growth.
