During this Webinar, participants will learn how to prepare their company for the new standards, understand the difference between significant deficiencies and material weakness to ensure a smoother audit process.

Our Presenters:

Marie C. Caputo, CPA, CGFM

Caputo is a partner at Clifton Gunderson’s Calverton, Maryland office and has more than 18 years of experience. She serves as the national leader of the firm’s employee benefit plan practice and the local leader of the firm’s not-for-profit practice. Caputo is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia. She also possesses a Certified Government Financial Manager Certification (CGFM) certification. Caputo is a member of professional organizations such as the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). She also serves as president of the newly formed DC Metropolitan Area Chapter of the American Women’s Society of CPAs and the co-chair of the Maryland Association of CPAs’ (MACPA) Not-for-Profit Committee. Caputo has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland College Park.

John J. Quinn, CPA, Partner

Quinn is a partner in Clifton Gunderson’s Oak Brooke, Illinois office and has more than 32 years of audit experience specializing in nonprofit organizations. He has served on the Nonprofit Committee of the Illinois CPA Society, is a presenter at Chicago-Kent College of Law’s Annual Not-for-Profit Conference, was elected to the Great Lakes Area Tax-Exempt Council, and edits the Nonprofit Insight newsletter. Quinn is the former leader of our firm’s Nonprofit Group. He is involved in the services provided to most of our nonprofit clients, either as the client partner or as unassociated reviewer. Quinn has a B.S. in Accounting from DePaul University.
