Sturgeon Bay, WI — Marine Travelift, Inc. announced the promotion of Stephan Chayer to Managing Director International Sales / Business Development today.
Chayer will be responsible for all international marine, industrial and government sales for the Company.
Chayer was hired by Marine Travelift in 1998 as an International Sales Engineer. He was promoted to Director of European Sales in 2003, and named International Director in 2006.
In 2005, Chayer was the first recipient of the Marine Travelift President’s Award of Excellence, an award recognizing extraordinary achievement on behalf of the Company. Chayer was instrumental in establishing and developing the international segment of the business for the Company.
Marine Travelift, Inc. conceptualized and manufactured the world’s first mobile boat hoist in 1954. The Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin-based company has a long-standing reputation as a marine industry leader and is recognized for its tradition of excellence on a global scale.
