St. Croix Economic Development Corporation (EDC) has three (3) board vacancies to fill as part of its annual meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Directors serve 3-year terms and participation is encouraged from community leaders representing business, industry, and the public sector.
Prospective board candidates are asked to conduct the EDC offices at (715) 381-4383 and request a candidate worksheet. They will be reviewed by the EDC executive committee which acts as the organization’s nominating committee.
The board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, except for June and August. Meetings start at 5:00 pm.
St. Croix EDC was formed in 1993. It is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization that operates as the independent economic development arm of St. Croix County. Reflective activities include business retention, expansion, recruitment, new business incorporations, and small business advocacy. Additional information is available at http://www.stcroixedc.com.
