Buechel, Giese, Rymer and Young to Serve Again

Four local government officials have been re-appointed to another term on the WCA Group Health Trust Board of Directors, including Fond du Lac County Executive Allen Buechel, Shawano County Board Chair Marshal Giese, Oconto County Board Chair Lee Rymer and Oneida County Board Supervisor John Young.

The WCA Group Health Trust, the employee benefit trust of the Wisconsin Counties Association (WCA), offers medical benefit plans, including prescription drug plans, dental and vision insurance, and wellness programs to counties, cities, school districts and other public entities.

“The WCA Group Health Trust is unique because it is governed by representatives of participating groups – led by board members such as Executive Buechel, Chairs Giese and Rymer, and Supervisor Young,” said Josh Bindl, WCA Insurance Services Administrator. “Their dedicated service to this board of directors over the years has helped position the Trust as a cost-effective leader for Wisconsin local governments and school districts. We look forward to working with them again to continue to meet local health care needs.”

The four members were re-appointed for a three-year term by Wisconsin Counties Association President and Calumet County Supervisor Alice Connors. The WCA Group Health Trust Board of Directors is comprised of county officials from around the state and the company works closely with individual entities to ensure the employee benefits are tailor made to fit their needs.

“The WCA Group Health Trust Board of Directors, made up of local officials such as these four local government leaders, are yet another reason we are like no one else in the industry, said Kim Hurtz, Vice President of Sales for Aegis Corporation, which provides marketing services to the GHT. “We are excited to work with these board members for another term and remain dedicated to accomplishing our mission of providing all of our members with affordable and creative choices for employee healthcare benefits.”
