Baird Private Equity: Promotes four

CHICAGO, February 18, 2010 – Baird Private Equity, the global private equity group affiliated with Robert W. Baird & Co. (Baird), is pleased to announce four promotions in its global private equity group:

* Rob Ospalik was named a Partner with Baird Private Equity, in addition to his continuing role as a Principal–Portfolio Management with Baird Capital Partners (BCP), the U.S.-based buyout fund of Baird Private Equity.

* Baird Capital Partners Asia (BCPA), the China-focused growth equity fund of Baird Private Equity, promoted Yongshan Sam Zhang to Vice President from Associate.

* Baird Capital Partners (BCP), the U.S.-based buyout fund of Baird Private Equity, promoted John DiGiovanni to Associate from Analyst.

* Baird Venture Partners (BVP), the U.S.-based venture fund of Baird Private Equity, promoted Joel Rotroff to Associate from Analyst.

Ospalik, DiGiovanni and Rotroff are based in Baird Private Equity’s Chicago office. Zhang is based in Baird Private Equity’s Shanghai office.
