Milwaukee, Wisconsin (January 12, 2010). The law firm of Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce the election of Danielle M. Machata and C.J. Wauters as shareholders, which became effective January 1, 2010.

Ms. Machata is a member of the Corporate Practice Group in the Milwaukee office and has been with the firm since 2005. Her practice focuses primarily on buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital equity and debt financing and general corporate matters. She graduated cum laude from the American University Washington School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University.

Mr. Wauters is a member of the Securities Practice Group in the Milwaukee office and has been with the firm since 2001. His practice focuses on the representation of public companies with respect to offerings of debt and equity securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities law compliance matters. He graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
