Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce: Announces Sally Piefer as new board chairman

BROOKFIELD, WI January 6, 2010 ⎯ At the November Annual Meeting of the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, Sally Piefer, Attorney at The Schroeder Group, S.C., Attorneys at Law was named Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Piefer also chairs the board’s Executive Committee. Piefer succeeds Thomas Krumenacher as Chairman. Krumenacher of Quarles & Brady LLP, Milwaukee, remains on the Chamber’s board as its past-Chairman.

Sally heads the labor and employment practice of the firm and has been providing representation to business clients in all aspects of employment and labor relations, with special emphasis in employment discrimination issues, including FMLA and disability discrimination, restrictive covenants, non-competes and trade secrets, independent contractor and employment contracts, and litigating involving all the areas of employment law for over 15 years.

In addition to devoting her time to the Chamber, Sally also sits on the Board of Directors for the Elmbrook Humane Society and the Midwest Twisters Gymnastics Booster Club, and she is a member of the Human Resources Committee for her church.
