Popular women’s wear retailer and celebrated pizza restaurant add to Hilldale’s offerings

Madison, WI -- Joseph Freed and Associates LLC, developer of Madison’s Hilldale Mall, announced today that active women’s retailer Title Nine and pizzeria Café Porta Alba have opened at Hilldale Mall.

"Title Nine is thrilled to be in Madison and to join the shops at Hilldale Mall.  We have had a very strong opening.  Fitness-minded women who love to play outdoors are coming to see us and buy our unique products," said Michele Coddington, Title Nine director of retail operations.

Title Nine offers athletic apparel and casual women’s clothing in stores, on the Internet and through catalogues.  The Hilldale location is Title Nine’s 14th store.  Title Nine’s other shops are in California, Colorado, Washington and Texas.

Named after the 1972 federal law that gives women and girls equal opportunity to compete in school sports, Title Nine is celebrating its 20th year in business with the opening of the Hilldale store.

Café Porta Alba serves authentic handcrafted pizzas in the Neapolitan tradition, using traditional methods and recipes.  It takes its name from the Naples square on which the first true pizzeria was founded.  Critics and customers alike rave over the taste, freshness and quality of Café Porta Alba cuisine.

Diners at Café Porta Alba will see the enormous traditional oak-fired brick oven in which the pizzas are baked – just as they have been in Naples since the 17th century.

“Our restaurant provides a gateway to both authentic Neapolitan cuisine and culture;” Café Porta Alba owner Vincente Pugliese said, “Café Porta Alba has found the perfect home at Hilldale.”
