MADISON— Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Esker Technologies, LLC, located in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, will receive a loan of up to $63,000 from the Technology Venture Fund (TVF) program to complete development of its new digital communications technology.

“Even during these difficult times, it’s important we continue to invest in innovative companies like Esker that are creating the jobs of tomorrow for hardworking Wisconsin families,” Governor Doyle said.

The new digital communications technology virtually eliminates the need for over 80 percent of the wires currently used in vehicles. Esker Technologies, LLC recently received the “General Motors Design Award for Most Innovative Product” at the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s premier automotive trade event in Las Vegas. The company will use provided funds to help launch the $245,000 project.
