(MADISON / September 4, 2009) – After losing its building to a devastating fire, 4-C (Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc.) has moved into a new facility built on the existing foundation at the agency’s previous location at 5 Odana Court in Madison.

“We’re excited to be back “home,” said Jody Bartnick, 4-C Executive Director, “and thrilled to be continuing to serve the community from our new facility.” The new building is being supported by a capital campaign that will allow the agency to focus on services instead of financing a mortgage. Individuals or organizations making a donation of $250 or more will receive an engraved brick taken from the remains of the old 4-C building that burned down. This is the first time in the agency’s 38-year history the agency has looked to the community to help fund a formal fundraising campaign. For information on making a donation, visit http://www.4-c.org. The agency will hold an open house later this fall.

In existence since 1971, Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc. (4-C) is part of an association of non-profit Wisconsin child care resource and referral agencies. 4-C provides a range of early childhood support services to families, child care providers and communities in southern Wisconsin. 4-C certifies family child care homes in Columbia and Dane Counties, administers the CACFP in 20 Wisconsin Counties, offers a child care referral service and options to parents and employers, and provides professional development and training opportunities for early childhood professionals.
