AUG. 20, 2009—Wisconsin Secretary of Commerce Richard J. Leinenkugel was in western Wisconsin Aug. 7 visiting the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation’s business of the year award winners, including K-Sun Corporation in Somerset. “We appreciate Secretary Leinenkugel’s attention to businesses in our region and across the state,” says Michael Kasun, of Stillwater, Minn., and president of K-Sun Corporation based in Somerset, Wis. “His family founded the Leinenkugel Brewery in northwestern Wisconsin, and we know he has a fondness for the small businesses in this part of the state.
