MADISON , Wis. – July 15, 2009 – When a business decides to remodel its exciting for employees and clients alike. The Edgewater of Madison recently decided to expand, the buzz is all about town.
The Edgwater Hotel on Langdon and Wisconsin Ave, Madison’s favorite Hotel on the water recently invited Oasis Day Spa, a 14-year-old day spa located in the Princeton Club West on Watts Road to do massage at the Hotel.
According to Oasis owner Lori Heffernon, the joint venture is a win win for everyone: clients, the Edgewater and the Spa. “I’m really pleased to be doing massage the Edgewater, cllients can come to the Hotel even if they are not staying and it helps our east side and downtown clients who have a hard time making it to our spa,” she says. “I’m also able to keep the new therapists we have from our recent merger busy.”
Heffernon says the massage at the Edgewater is an amazing opportunity for our spa.

In a market in which three day spas have closed since January, Heffernon says her spa is thriving and hopes to reach the million dollar mark in 2009 despite the economy. Growth isn’t easy, says Heffernon. “I’m always looking for positive ways to keep our staff busy and clients happy,” she says. “This year, our focus has been on building relationships with the community and clients. I truly believe that is why we were chosen to join the Edgewater.”
