UW-Rock County: Teach a College for Kids course

JANESVILLE – The University of Wisconsin-Rock County Office of Continuing Education is offering an opportunity for community members to teach motivated children in grades 2 through 8 about a variety of topics, such as art, literature, science, history, physical education, music, technology and more. Interested adults should submit a course proposal by January 15 for the College for Kids summer enrichment program that will be held July 20-24.

College for Kids classes are typically an hour and 15 minutes in length and are scheduled each morning of the session. Classes for grades 5 through 8 are two hours and 50 minutes in length and may be scheduled mornings or afternoons for the session.

College for Kids instructors are paid to teach courses and may use UW-Rock County facilities, including the greenhouse, theatre, art studio, computer labs and classrooms.
