(Brookfield, December 29, 2008) — James Imaging Systems, a 32-year-old Brookfield-based provider of integrated document technologies, has purchased Marnett Business Center, Grafton, according to Tom Tegeder, president of the James organization. The acquisition, effective November 26, will grow their business by 17 percent, he says.

James Imaging Systems, a Toshiba, KIP, Savin, and HP office equipment dealer, serves Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Jefferson, and Walworth counties. The company sells and services multifunctional copiers, facsimiles, and wide format and laser printers.

James Imaging also consults on print fleet management to optimize workflow and reduce costs. “We provide equipment that streamlines a company’s information workflow and enables them to run their business more profitably and efficiently,” states Tegeder. “Our objective is to provide more choices for our clients and add value by providing customized solutions that address their unique business needs. This is all backed by our professionally trained and responsive staff.”

According to Tegeder, Leon Marnett’s Grafton-based company has been selling and servicing Toshiba products in Washington and Ozaukee counties for many years.

“My father, James Tegeder, who started this company 32 years ago, and Mr. Marnett had been friendly rivals for many years. We are extremely pleased to bring the Marnette company into our organization and now look forward to serving businesses in Washington and Ozaukee counties,” says Tegeder. “And we’re pleased that Mr. Marnett will join our company as a consultant.

With the addition of the Marnett staff members, approximately 45 employees will serve James Imaging Systems clients, working out of their offices in Brookfield.
