Madison, WI – Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) is pleased to name Kristin Lueschow, RN, MSN as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

Lueschow has more than 20 years of experience in the health care field and previously served as Director of Clinical Operations. In that role, she established herself as a collaborative, insightful leader and built a great sense of camaraderie and a shared vision among the teams she works with at GHC-SCW.

In her new role, Lueschow will lead nursing and reception teams, as well as work closely with fellow senior leaders, to maintain the high quality of care GHC-SCW patients have come to expect.

“Kristin has an open, transparent communication style and an ability to help others succeed and thrive in the work they do for our Cooperative,” commented Dr. Mark Huth, GHC-SCW President and Chief Executive Officer. “I am thrilled that Kristin will serve in this important role on our senior leadership team. She has done, and will continue to do, a great job for our organization.”

“I am humbled to take on this new role and help shape the overall patient experience here at GHC-SCW,” said Lueschow. “Nurses have the privilege and challenge of playing a critical part in the connection between providers and patients. Over the last year, I have seen first-hand that GHC-SCW takes this to heart; providing a path for a healthy life for our members and employees alike.”

Prior to joining GHC-SCW, Lueschow oversaw clinical and business operations for specialty clinics at Monroe Clinic, with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Care Administration and Management from Concordia University-Wisconsin and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership at Grand Canyon University.
