Madison, Wis. (November 16, 2017) – In partnership with the Madison Metropolitan School District, Edgewood College will host the inaugural Multicultural Nursing and Health Careers Preview Day from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm on Friday, November 17, 2017.

Students from East, West and Memorial High Schools will explore a variety of careers in the health sciences field. The day includes opportunities to interact with current students and faculty in the Henry Predolin School of Nursing, and in other Health Science fields. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, work in labs, and participate in a virtual dissection using the new Anatomage table.

“We are pleased to welcome students from right here in Madison to continue to think about their next steps in school, especially in such critical fields,” Derek Johnson, Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions said. “This opportunity is invaluable – regardless of where these students go on to attend college, and aligns wonderfully with the district’s Personalized Pathways initiative.”
