Madison, WI – Madison Startup Week is proud to announce calendar of events for the inaugural Madison Startup Week, part of the Wisconsin Startup Week initiative taking place November 6th to 12th, 2017.

Madison Startup Week, is focused on building momentum and inclusivity in Greater Madison’s high-growth entrepreneurship community, showcasing the region’s startup success stories and highlighting the resources available to entrepreneurs in the region.

“Madison has a thriving entrepreneurial community, rich in diversity and innovative ideas which are highlighted throughout events and happenings all year round. Wisconsin Startup Week is another way to highlight and showcase the entrepreneurs across our state, as well as within Madison, who are making change happen and moving our economy forward,” said Heather Wentler, Executive Director of Doyenne Group and Co-organizer of Madison Startup Week “Along with the variety of events that will be hosted in Madison during Wisconsin Startup Week, we hope to use the week as a way for Madisonians to explore the rest of the Wisconsin’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem to learn about businesses and organizations supporting entrepreneurs throughout our state.”

The Doyenne Connect Event is a monthly networking event for women entrepreneurs. For November’s event we will be highlighting Doyenne Members Love Wisconsin to learn about their venture and how they started.

Madison Startup Week, part of the Wisconsin Startup Week Initiative

The Wisconsin Startup Week initiative which was launched this year is focused on showcasing all of the resources available to entrepreneurs around the state, highlighting the state’s unique entrepreneurial identity and celebrating Wisconsin’s numerous entrepreneurial success stories.

The Wisconsin Startup Week initiative is supported by several major companies around the state including Aurora Health Care, Concordia University Wisconsin, Husch Blackwell and Northwestern Mutual. Events will be hosted during the week of November 6th through 12th, 2017 in Appleton, Beloit, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Madison, Madison, Madison, Milwaukee, Oshkosh and Stevens Point.
