Janesville, Wis. May 26, 2017 – Blain’s Farm and Fleet proudly supports the 15th annual Janesville Police Department Bike Rodeo on Saturday June 3rd, 2017.

Blain’s Farm and Fleet has donated more than 300 bike locks over the last three years in support of the event, and with the event’s growing popularity, this year, Blain’s will also be donating another 100 bike locks and water bottles.

“This is our 15th year hosting the bike rodeo and we are very pleased to see its growth over the years. The generosity of this community in helping to continue to make this event free every year through financial and bike donations is simply incredible. Seeing the faces and reactions of kids winning a bike is priceless. Some families would never be able to provide a bike to their children and now they have a great opportunity to win one at the bike rodeo. Thank you to all of the businesses and citizens who help make this event a huge success,” says Officer Chad Sullivan of the Janesville Police Department.

The Bike Rodeo will be held from 10am to 12pm at Wilson Elementary School. The event is free and all children under 16 can enter their name in a drawing to win a new bike and bike licenses will be provided to the winners. Free food and drinks will also be available. The Janesville Police Department Bike Officers will be on site with an obstacle course and sharing tips on bike safety.

“We’re proud to give back to the community through our involvement in the Janesville Bike Rodeo. Not only does this event teach bike safety, it also allows kids to have positive interaction with Janesville Police Department officers,” stated Dan Boutelle, Assistant Director of Loss Prevention for Blain’s Farm and Fleet.
