MENASHA, WI (May 1, 2017) – A recent partnership between Network Health and United Hospital System is bringing a new set of health insurance options to employer groups in Kenosha County. United Hospital System and its physicians joined Network Health’s high-quality network of providers on April 1, 2017. Beginning May 1, employers in Kenosha County may purchase plans from Network Health to provide health insurance services to their employees.

“This year Network Health celebrates our 35th anniversary. I can think of no better way to celebrate than to expand our services and offer quality health insurance and exceptional customer service to the Kenosha County community,” said Coreen Dicus-Johnson, Network Health President and CEO. “Network Health and United Hospital System are two local, community-based companies. Our partnership is a no-brainer.”

Headquartered in the Fox Valley, Network Health currently covers more than 128,000 people throughout Wisconsin on its commercial, Medicare Advantage and individual health insurance plans. Network Health’s coverage of employer groups in Kenosha County will begin July 1. Employers and insurance brokers can begin contacting Network Health for quotes immediately.

“United Hospital System has been a pillar of the Kenosha community for more than 110 years. It makes sense for us to partner with Network Health, another Wisconsin-based company invested in serving our communities,” said United Hospital System President, CEO and General Counsel, Ric Schmidt. “Through this new health insurance option, United Hospital System will be able to care for more people in Kenosha County. As we continue to expand our physical footprint in the area, the partnership between United Hospital System and Network Health will allow our outstanding team of physicians and professional healthcare workers the ability to provide excellent patient care to the patients of those employers that select Network Health plans. This partnership is clearly in the best interest of all parties, most notably our patients.”

Kenosha County-based United Hospital System offers a wide array of services primarily through the Kenosha Medical Center Campus and the St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus.
