Midwest Energy Research Consortium: hosts 2017 Energy Storage Conference in Milwaukee

[Milwaukee, Wis.] – The Midwest Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC) hosted the 2017 Energy Storage Conference Wednesday morning at UWM’s Zelazo Center.

M-WERC welcomed nearly 150 members and guests to the event. The conference featured keynote speaker George Crabtree of Argonne National Laboratory. There were also sessions covering energy storage technology, the advancement in energy storage research and the growth and expansion of energy storage applications. 

“M-WERC remains at the center of the energy, power and controls industries in the region,” said M-WERC COO Jeff Anthony. “We’re excited to be able to convene such a notable group of industry professionals as we help expand the energy storage market.”
