Magellan Health: Announces Appointment of Amie Goldman to the Wisconsin Long Term Care Advisory Council

Scottsdale, Ariz. – January 25, 2017 – Magellan Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGLN) today announced that Amie
Goldman, president of TMG by Magellan Health, has been appointed by Wisconsin Department of Health
and Human Services Secretary Linda Seemeyer to the state’s Long Term Care Advisory Council. TMG by
Magellan Health currently supports approximately 13,000 individuals in Wisconsin through the state’s
Include, Respect, I Self‐Direct (IRIS) program, which serves adults with physical and developmental
disabilities, and frail elders who are self‐directing their long‐term services.

Goldman. “Wisconsin has long been a leader in self‐directed and long‐term care. Given the growing
pressures on the long‐term care service delivery system, it’s critical that the state and stakeholders
continue to work together to effectively empower and support people using these services and to assure
the quality and sustainability of the systems that serve them.”

Seemeyer’s charge to the group includes identifying quality metrics to analyze the long‐term care system
and service outcomes; developing strategies to address workforce shortages in the long‐term care
system; creating strategies to keep people safe and healthy in the community to prevent and delay the
need for long‐term care services and; communicating to all long term care stakeholders.

Goldman’s appointment runs from 2017 through December 31, 2019.
