Wisconsin Safety Council: Chris Halverson, of Madison, elected Wisconsin Safety Council advisory board Chair

The Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC) is pleased to welcome a new member to its Advisory Board leadership. Chris Halverson, Risk Management Sales Director at M3 Insurance in Madison, was elected to be the WSC Advisory Board Chair. His term began January 1, 2017.

Halverson worked for 13 years as Safety Manager for Stoughton Trailers and then served as Emergency Medical Service Director for the City of Stoughton for three years before joining M3 in 2003. Prior to his role as Risk Management Sales Director, he was the Director of Risk Management-Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits at M3.

The Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC) is a program of the WMC Foundation, which is an affiliate of WMC, the state chamber of commerce and Wisconsin manufacturer’s association. WSC is Wisconsin’s leading provider of workplace safety training and programming, and is dedicated to making Wisconsin a safe and healthy place to live and work. As Wisconsin’s chapter of the National Safety Council, WSC promotes safety and health programs, resource services, and educational materials for community outreach.
