Edgewood College: School of Business Conference at Deming Way Campus

Madison – The School of Business at Edgewood College is pleased to welcome Greater Madison to “Preparing and Inspiring Future Business Leaders for the Challenges of Today and Tomorrow.”

 

The one-day conference will be held from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm on Friday October 21, 2016 at the Deming Way Campus, 1255 Deming Way, Madison. The conference is ideal for both students exploring concepts in business and for working professionals. There is no registration fee, and guests are encouraged to attend sessions that fit their schedule. Please dress business professional or business casual.

The day consists of concurrent hour-long sessions covering a wide range of topics, with local business leaders serving as panelists in each:

 

9:30 am – Networking and light continental breakfast

 

10:30 am – Addressing the U.S. Debt Crisis: The Roles of Financial Institutions, Government, and Consumers

 

10:30 am – How Marketers Utilize Creativity, Technology, and Data Analytics to Address Customer Needs

 

1:15 pm – Challenges and Opportunities in the Accounting Profession

 

1:15 pm – Social Entrepreneurship: Using Business Innovation to Address Social Problems

 

2:30 pm – The Edgewood Advantage: Why You Should Get Your Business Degree from Edgewood College

 

           

There is a keynote luncheon session as well, featuring Ralph Kauten, Chairman and CEO, Lucigen Corporation. An RSVP is required to attend the keynote luncheon. Attendees may email Dean Stevie Watson atswatson@edgewood.edu by October 18 in order to attend the keynote luncheon.
