DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C: Elects Peter M. Garson to serve on its executive committee

MADISON|MILWAUKEE|MINNEAPOLIS – DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., and its affiliate DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., today announced its recent election of Peter M. Garson to serve on its Executive Committee (EC). Garson will join other EC members in assisting with the governance and strategic direction of the firm. In addition to Garson’s election, current EC members William E. McCardell, Michele L. Perreault and Timothy L. Stewart were elected to serve additional three year terms.

With more than 25 years of experience, Garson concentrates his practice in a wide variety of areas including business start-ups, merger and acquisition for both the acquiring and selling company and reorganization transactions. He also works in business succession planning, real estate acquisition and development, estate and trust planning, business and tax planning. He has extensive experience representing taxpayers before the taxing authorities on compliance, audit and collection matters.

Garson received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in New Orleans and earned his J.D. from the Marquette University. He is a resident of the west side of Madison.
