MADISON|MILWAUKEE|MINNEAPOLIS — The law firm of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C. today announced Joseph T. Miotke has been elected the Chairman of Project Lead the Way Wisconsin’s Statewide Leadership Team.

Miotke, who focuses his practice in the intellectual property, patent litigation, and intellectual property transactions arenas, has been a supporter of Project Lead the Way Wisconsin (PLTW) and its mission to empower students. “PLTW is a positive game-changer when it comes to empowering our students to develop their skills in the academic areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in order to pursue STEM-related careers,” said Miotke, who earned his J.D. and B.S. degrees from Marquette University.

Wisconsin’s PLTW program is among the largest in the United States and continues to grow. PLTW’s vision is to ignite the spark of American ingenuity, creativity and imagination within all of its students. Its mission is to ensure that America succeeds in the increasingly high-tech and high-skill global economy, by partnering with middle schools and high schools to prepare students to become the most innovative and productive in the world.
The Wisconsin PLTW Statewide Leadership team champions the successful implementation and sustainability of PLTW to advance Wisconsin’s STEM educational and workforce initiatives.
