SANDWICH BROS. OF WISCONSIN AND JONES DAIRY FARM TEAM UP TO FEED BADGER FANS
$1 Sandwich Bros. sandwiches will be available at Badgerville tailgates before UW-Madison home football games
MADISON, Wis. (Sept. 9, 2015) – Sandwich Bros. of Wisconsin and Jones Dairy Farm are partnering to offer $1 sandwiches during Badgerville pre-game tailgates at University of Wisconsin-Madison home football games.
Two sandwich varieties will be available for purchase before all home games: the Pork Sausage & Cheese Flatbread Pocket Sandwich and the Turkey Sausage & Cheese Flatbread Pocket Sandwich.
The hand-stuffed sandwiches feature all natural pork sausage and all natural turkey sausage from nearby Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson, Wis. The meat is stuffed into Kangaroo flatbread pockets and topped with a slice of real American cheese.
“We’re a proud Wisconsin company, and we’re excited to partner with Jones Dairy Farm, another great Wisconsin company, to support Badger football during Badgerville,” said Salem Kashou, COO and marketing director of Kangaroo Brands, which distributes Sandwich Bros. of Wisconsin frozen sandwiches and Kangaroo breads.
During the tailgate, Sandwich Bros. of Wisconsin and Jones Dairy Farm will host games, contests and other activities. Kids will have the chance to take a photo with Porkchop Jones, the Jones Dairy Farm mascot.
Badgerville is the official pre-game event of Wisconsin athletics, featuring food and beer for purchase in addition to entertainment and games for the whole family. The tailgates are free and open to the public.
The Badgerville tailgate opens two-and-a-half hours before kickoff and is located on Engineering Mall, directly northeast of Camp Randall Stadium.
During the 2015 football season, Badgerville will take place during Saturday home games on Sept. 12 (vs. Miami Ohio), Sept. 19 (vs. Troy), Sept. 26 (vs. Hawaii), Oct. 3 (vs. Iowa), Oct. 17 (vs. Purdue) and Oct. 31 (vs. Rutgers).
