MADISON – June 30, 2015 – The law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. (WHD) is pleased to announce that Paul J. Karch has joined Andrew J. Schlidt and Eric E. Lenzen as co-leader of the firm’s Corporate & Finance Practice Group.

Karch is a shareholder in WHD’s Madison office where he leads the Agribusiness Team and is a member of the Corporate Transactions, Emerging Companies and Health Care Law teams. He has more than 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer and business and community leader, with success in designing and completing innovative complex transactions, developing and implementing strategic plans, creating effective governance structures, and building and leading teams and organizations. Prior to joining WHD, Karch worked for another large Wisconsin law firm, and from 1994-2006 for a large paper company in Appleton, Wis., where he served as general counsel, vice president with responsibility for law, human resources, environment, health and safety, and communications, and was a member of the board of directors.

Karch is an Executive Committee member of the ESOP Association’s Wisconsin Chapter; board member of Community Work Services, Inc. and the Epilepsy Leadership Council; member of United Way of Dane County’s Growing Up/Getting Ready Community Service Team; and chair of The Dup15q Alliance.

Karch received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and his A.B. in Economics, cum laude, from Harvard College. He is admitted to practice in both Wisconsin and California.
